Emma Jelbart


Emma completed a Bachelor of Nursing (Advanced Studies) at the University of Sydney in 2014 and a Master of Mental Health Nursing with distinction at the University of Newcastle in 2018. Her professional background spans adult inpatient mental health, drug and alcohol services, clinical education and home aged care.

Emma is a mum of two young boys, and has recently returned to Australia after living in europe. In recent years she has been involved in academia, in particular investigating the nursing role in psychotropic deprescribing.

Emma is delighted to join the Human Care team and brings a strong interest in primary health, with its focus on holistic, preventative, and community-based care. She values developing strong, collaborative relationships with patients and is passionate about supporting them to make and sustain positive health changes through helpful conversation, care planning and health promotion.
